Assisted living and residential care communities in the 16-to-49-bed range, where the laundry runs hot and constant, where every shirt has a name on it, and where a missed pickup means a resident is short on clean clothes by morning. What matters here isn't a flashy contract — it's reliability and a clear handling policy: laundry back labeled, sorted, and on time, every time.

We serve assisted living laundry pickups across the South Bay, Peninsula, and East Bay on recurring schedules sized to your resident count. Pricing starts at $1.35/lb recurring, $49.99 minimum per pickup.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set a recurring pickup schedule

Most facilities want twice-weekly or three-times-weekly pickup. We'll size it from a first-week sample.

  2. 2

Sort and bag by resident or by category

Whatever your existing system is, we work with it. Bags marked by resident name come back sorted by resident. Bulk bedding bagged separately stays separate.

  3. 3

Wash by category, hot when appropriate

Personal clothing on care-label cycles to keep colors from running and prevent shrinkage on items residents are attached to. Bedding and towels on high-temperature wash cycles.

  4. 4

Return in 24 to 48 hours

Folded, sorted, name-bagged. We text the facility manager 15 minutes before drop-off.

Volume by bed count

A rough planning guide: 20 residents on a twice-weekly pickup schedule generate 100 to 150 lb per pickup — two changes of bedding, personal clothing, and towels. Forty residents lands around 250 lb, which crosses the volume tier where the per-pound rate steps down to $1.29/lb. The first week runs as a sample so the schedule gets sized from actual weight, not an estimate.

Senior care laundry — frequently asked

How do you handle name labels?
We follow them. If a shirt is labeled "Mrs. Patel - Room 4," it comes back in the Patel bag. If labels are faded, missing, or running, we'll flag the item rather than guess and risk getting it to the wrong resident.
What if items aren't labeled?
We wash them and return them in a separate "unlabeled" bag for the facility to sort. We won't assign them to a resident on a guess. The first month with a new client is usually when label gaps surface - Sukhdeep can recommend a labeling approach if you want one.
Do you handle incontinence-soiled items?
Not currently. We run high-temperature wash cycles and can handle lightly soiled bedding, but heavy incontinence intake needs specialized handling we're not set up for yet. If that's a regular part of your volume, we're not the right fit - and we'll tell you that on the first call rather than after the first pickup.
What about resident clothing that shouldn't go in the dryer?
Tell us once and we'll mark the resident's bag for line-dry or low-heat. Care-label items get care-label treatment. We'd rather slow a load down than shrink a sweater someone has had since 1987.
What happens if something is lost?
We'll find it or replace it. Bags stay separated through every step - intake, wash, return - and across our existing wash-and-fold work, lost-item incidents have been uncommon. Lost-and-found at our scale runs through Sukhdeep directly, not a call center.
Are you bonded and insured for facility access?
Licensed and insured. We can send proof of insurance on request before the first pickup if your facility requires it.
Can you accommodate same-day for an emergency volume?
Sometimes. If a resident has a sudden volume of soiled bedding, call - we'll work around the regular schedule when we can. Not a default offering.
