Day spas, single-room massage practices, bodywork and stretch studios, facial bars. The laundry that piles up here is different from a gym's: sheets, face-cradle covers, hand towels, and robes that come back heavy with massage oil, lotion, and wax residue. Run those through a home machine and the oil never fully leaves — it goes rancid, and your fresh sheets come out smelling off within a day.

We pick up across the South Bay, Peninsula, and East Bay on a recurring schedule built around your booking volume. Pricing starts at $1.55/lb recurring, $49.99 minimum per pickup.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set a recurring pickup cadence

Most studios run one or two pickups a week. We work backwards from your booking volume on the first call to keep clean linen on the shelf.

  2. 2

    Bag at end of day

Whatever hampers or bags you already use. Flag the heaviest oil loads and we'll treat them accordingly.

  3. 3

Wash hot, lift the oil, dry, fold

Oil-cutting pre-treatment and high-temperature cycles so residue lifts out instead of building up over time.

  4. 4

    Drop-off in 24 to 48 hours

Folded, sorted, ready to set the table.

Why oil is a laundry problem on its own

Massage oil and lotion don't wash out in a standard warm cycle. The oil heats, spreads into the fiber, cools, and sets. After a few washes that way, the sheet looks clean but smells off within an hour of use. Over time the fabric grays and stiffens.

The fix is pre-treatment before the load runs — breaking down the oil while it's still emulsified — followed by a high-temperature wash that lifts the residue rather than pushing it deeper into the weave. That's the process for every spa linen load we handle. Your next client shouldn't smell the last one.

Spa & massage laundry — frequently asked

My sheets still smell like oil after washing. Can you fix that?
Usually yes. That smell is massage oil that never fully washed out and started to oxidize. We pre-treat oil-heavy loads and wash hot so the oil lifts instead of setting into the fibers. If a batch comes back to us with oil already set in from months of home washing, we'll tell you honestly how much we got out.
Will the oily linens contaminate my other laundry?
No. We keep heavy-oil loads separate from lighter linens and from other clients' laundry through the whole process.
What kinds of oil and product do you handle?
Standard massage oils, lotions, and creams. If you use a specialty wax or a product that needs special handling, tell us on the first call and we'll be straight about whether we can take it.
What's the minimum?
Our minimum is $49.99 per pickup. For most single-room practices that's a few days of sheets and towels. If your volume runs lighter, we can move to a bi-weekly schedule.
Do you serve my area?
We cover the South Bay, Peninsula, and East Bay on weekday recurring schedules. Tell us where you are and we'll confirm the pickup day.
Do you handle table covers and bolster cases?
Yes. Face cradle covers, bolster cases, flannel table sheets, flat table sheets — all handled as part of the standard spa linen load. Flag anything that needs low-heat or hang-dry and we'll mark the bag accordingly.
Can you turn linens around in 24 hours instead of 48?
Usually yes for accounts in the South Bay on a standard route day. We don't guarantee next-day as a default — bring it up on the first call and we'll confirm whether the route day allows it for your location.
